Cooking a dessert of oranges in chocolate:

Step 1: Prepare the oranges.

Although we have few components, they also need pre-processing. Let's start with oranges - they must be washed with running water to get rid of settled dust. I will offer two options for decorating the dessert. therefore, we divide the existing oranges into 2 parts and cut one into circles together with the peel, the circle should be about 5 millimeters thick. If you cut thicker, then the dessert will be bitter, if thinner, then the orange will be fragile. Cutting an orange thinly and evenly is quite difficult, but the peel must be left behind, otherwise the dessert will not hold. We will peel the second part of oranges from peel and white films, and then divide them neatly into slices. We pour coconut flakes into a plate so that at the right moment it is at hand. You can make the dessert even brighter using colorful shavings.

Step 2: Boil the circles of oranges for dessert.

The way to prepare a dessert with circles is a little more complicated and requires more extensive preparation. Therefore, we will not waste time and begin by boiling water in a saucepan, lowering our orange circles there and we will boil them for 3-4 minutes. Then we drain the water, and squeeze the oranges to get rid of bitterness. Again, pour the water - 300 ml into the pan, dissolve the sugar in it and boil the oranges in the resulting syrup for about 1 hour, until the peel becomes transparent. After that, let the excess syrup drain, and dry the oranges in a preheated oven to 120 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Then oranges need to be cooled.

Step 3: Prepare a dessert of oranges in chocolate.

We turn to chocolate. It is better to use one in which the cocoa content is not less than 50% - therefore, dark chocolate is ideal for our purposes. For him, we will organize a water bath and melt the chocolate on it. If you simply heat up a bowl of chocolate over a fire, it can burn, and in a water bath, the chocolate will melt due to boiling water. When the chocolate is ready, add a little vegetable oil to it - so the icing will be smoother. We start making the dessert - take peeled slices of oranges, dip them into chocolate completely with a spoon, and then roll them in coconut. Put the finished sweets on a flat dish and move on to another cooking option. Dip the caramelized circles of oranges half in melted chocolate, and then put them on baking paper or on a plate. The finished dessert needs to be cooled so that the chocolate freezes. Therefore, we place the plates with dessert in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Step 4: Serve the finished chocolate oranges dessert.

Serve the dessert chilled, on a beautiful dish with skewers, which will be more convenient to take it. For such an unusual dessert, quite ordinary hot drinks - tea, coffee and cocoa - will fit well. And guests will be delighted with such a bright and beautiful dish! Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Such a dessert can be prepared from other fruits now that you know the basic recipe.

- - There is another design option - pour part of the slices with melted chocolate and sprinkle with coconut. So it will be clearly seen what the dessert consists of. You can come up with your own design options - there is a huge scope for imagination.

- - Instead of coconut, chopped nuts or grated crumbs from cookies can be used.

- - You can choose the option that suits you best. In the variant with slices of orange, less time is required for cooking, but another option is striking in its unusual taste.
