Shrimp Canapes


Shrimp Canapes Ingredients

  1. 4 slices bread
  2. Shrimp 300 grams
  3. Sweet chili sauce 30 ml.
  4. Green onion 2 pcs.
  5. Olive oil 20 grams
  6. Arugula 50 grams
  7. Salt 7-10 grams

Saucepan, Frying pan, Bowl, Round cutter (5 mm.), Knife, Cutting board, Stove

Making Shrimp Canapes:

Step 1: Cook the Shrimp.

We put a pot of water on the stove when the water boils, add salt and throw the shrimp into the pan. Cook until cooked on medium heat for about 20 minutes. Cool and clean the finished shrimp.

Step 2: prepare the bread and the canapé filling.

Fry slices of bread on both sides in a pan, adding olive oil. Let the bread cool and use a round cutter to cut out the rounds. This will be the basis of our shrimp canapes. Finely chop the green onion, leave half for decoration, and mix the second with chili sauce and shrimp in a bowl.

Step 3: serve.

For each piece of bread we put a couple of arugula leaves and 1/4 of the resulting filling. Sprinkle the remaining green onion on top. If the shrimp canapes are prepared for a buffet, then we stick a skewer into each piece and serve. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - It is better to choose a thicker bread for canapes with shrimps, it should not crumble easily. Baguette, often used for small sandwiches, is not suitable for this dish.

- - from a greens with shrimps arugula and green onions are best suited, do not replace them with anything else.
