Salad "Christmas wreath"


Ingredients for making Christmas Wreath Salad

  5. Beets 1 pc.
  6. Walnuts 2/3 cup.
  7. Dill 1 bunch.
  8. Garlic 1 clove.
  9. Mayonnaise to taste.
  10. Salt, pepper to taste.
  11. Cheese for decoration.
  12. Sweet corn for decoration.
  13. Bell pepper, red 1 pc. for decoration.

Cooking Christmas Wreath Salad:

Step 1: prepare the chicken.

We take the chicken fillet, thoroughly rinse it with cool water, then send it to the pot with salted water, boil until tender, it will take about 20 minutes. From the finished chicken, drain the water and cool. After this, finely chop our fillet, but do not overdo it, pieces of meat should be felt.

Step 2: prepare the vegetables.

I wash the vegetables and eggs thoroughly, and also send them to boil in a saucepan with salted water. Cook vegetables in their skins for about 40 minutes, and check their readiness with a knife. Carefully drain the water from the ready-made vegetables, cool and clean.

Step 3: we form 1 layer.

We take the most beautiful and preferably a large, wide plate, put a glass in the center. Around it, we will lay out the layers in layers and form our wreath. Mix the chopped chicken with mayonnaise, pepper and salt to taste and gently spread it around the glass.

Step 4: we form 2 layer.

Rub carrots on a coarse grater, also mix with mayonnaise. Spread on top of the chicken.

Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater, salt, add mayonnaise. Mix everything carefully and spread on top of the carrots.

Step 6: we form 4 layer.

Grind nuts and garlic. We also rub the beets on a coarse grater, season with mayonnaise. Mix our beets with nuts and garlic, salt, spread on potatoes.

Step 7: we form a 5 layer.

Now we rub the eggs on the same coarse grater, salt and mix again with mayonnaise. Gently form the final layer of our salad.

Step 8: Serve the "Christmas Wreath" to the table.

Getting started creating a real Christmas wreath! Carefully remove the glass from the center of the wreath, form “spruce branches” from the dill branches, cut stars out of the cheese and pepper slices with a sharp knife and lay on top of the dill branches, create “snow” from grated egg whites and sprinkle corn on top. In order to let the salad soak, put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - To form the neat edges of the wreath, you can use the split baking dish.

- - For decoration, you can and should use all your imagination, come up with all kinds of decorations from various ingredients.

- - For piquancy and sourness, it is worth adding a few sparks of pomegranate seeds.
