Cooking beef with pasta:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

In order to make it more convenient for us to cook, we will prepare all the ingredients in advance. Let's start with the onion, remove the husk with a knife and wash the onion under cool running water. After, we shift to a cutting board and cut into thin half rings. We do the same with the second onion. Shredded ingredient is transferred to a plate or other container. Next, go to the garlic, remove the husk from the garlic cloves, rinse under running water and finely chop the sharp component on the cutting board. After, transfer it to a plate with onions. Then we wash the tomatoes under running water, dry them with paper kitchen towels and transfer to a cutting board. Using a knife, we cut off the place to which the vegetable was attached to the plant, and cut the tomatoes into cubes up to about 2 centimeters in size. After that, we put the crushed ingredient in a deep plate or other container, while the resulting juice is also poured into the same container. Now it's time for beef. We wash the meat under running cool water, dry it with paper kitchen towels and transfer it to a cutting board. Using a knife, cut off the film and excess fat. Then cut into equal pieces about 3 by 3 centimeters in size. After, we put the crushed ingredient in a deep container. And you can move on to the next cooking step.

Step 2: saute the beef.

Turn on the temperature of the plate to an average level or slightly higher. In a pan with high sides we pour a generous portion of olive oil and put on the burner. When the oil warms up, we transfer the chopped pieces of beef into the container. Using a kitchen spatula, evenly fry them on all sides, until a beautiful golden brown crust is formed. This process will take you about 5 - 8 minutes. After that, we shift the fried pieces of meat into a deep plate, while the fire does not turn off, but only reduce to an average level.

Step 3: fry the vegetables.

Add to the same pan. 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil and pre-chopped onions and garlic. Fry about 5 minutesso that our components have time to soften, while periodically mixing them with a kitchen spatula. And after that, add the necessary amount of red wine, chopped tomatoes and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly. Then add the tomato paste and beef broth.

Step 4: bake the beef.

Next, we return the fried meat ingredient back to the pan, from the container in which it was lying. And again, mix everything well, while the liquid level should not completely cover the pieces of beef. Preheat the oven to 140 - 160 degrees Celsius. And as soon as the liquid in the pan starts to boil, open the oven, take out the wire rack and set the pan with beef on it. Beef will be baked around 2.5 hours. Readiness can be checked with a fork, if the meat is pierced easily, then it is ready, if not, then bake for some more time. In the meantime, baked meat, let's do pasta.

Step 5: boil the pasta.

Turn on the temperature of the stove to a high level. We put the pan on the burner and pour clean water into it, and the larger the pan, the better, since pasta is better obtained in large containers. And count the water in such a way that for 100 grams of pasta, there is 1 liter of water. After the water boils, add salt to taste and drop the required amount of pasta into boiling water. We reduce the temperature of the plate to an average level, mix the pasta so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan and begin to boil. Cooking time manufacturers usually indicate on the packaging, this is approximately 7 to 10 minutes. Before throwing pasta into a colander, it must be scalded with boiling water. Ready pasta is poured into a colander, while rinsing them under running water should not be. Better put your inventory on the pan so that the liquid itself is glass.

Step 6: chop the parsley.

To make our dish more aromatic and at the same time beautiful, cut parsley. We wash a bunch of greens under running water and shake off excess liquid above the sink. Then we shift to a chopping board and finely chop the parsley with a knife. The chopped ingredient is placed in a plate.

Step 7: add the sour cream.

With the passage of time, we take out the finished meat from the oven, but we are in no hurry to mix it with pasta. It remains to add the last ingredient to our beef. Using a spoon, we transfer the required amount of sour cream to a pan with meat. After, mix everything thoroughly until smooth.

Step 8: serve beef with pasta.

We spread pasta in beautiful plates in portions, put slices of beef on top and add a tomato and sour cream sauce with a tablespoon, sprinkle it all with finely chopped parsley and you can serve the dish to the table. Beef with pasta is considered the second course and served hot. Beef cooked according to this recipe goes well not only with pasta, but also with crumbly rice or mashed potatoes, which garnish will be for you to decide. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - For the preparation of this dish, it is best to use the neck, brisket or back. At the same time, the meat having an uneven color indicates that it was frozen and thawed more than once, and it is better to refuse such meat.

- - For meat and vegetables, knives and cutting boards should be different.

- - If you do not have olive oil, you can replace it with any vegetable oil, such as sunflower.
