Cooking a fur coat in pancakes:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

We take about one third of the flour, add sugar, dry yeast (before that it is better to crush them into a fine powder) and milk heated slightly above room temperature. Drive our dough with a whisk and set aside half an hour in a warm placecovering with a towel. Over time, bubbles should form on the test. Put in the dough, beaten chicken egg, add the remaining flour, vegetable oil. Mix the dough very carefully so that no lumps form.

Step 2: Fry the pancakes.

Pancakes are best fried in a pan with plenty of grease or vegetable oil. Scoop the required amount of dough with a ladle and pour it onto a hot pan. At the same time, hold the handle with her other hand and make circular movements so that the mass spreads evenly on the surface. Pancakes should not turn out too thin so that they do not tear later.

Step 3: Cooking the filling.

I wash the beets under running water, and cook until tender. Already ready, it needs to be grated on a fine grater. Squeeze the beets in a bowl and heat the resulting juice to a temperature of approximately 70 degrees, put gelatin in it and dissolve. Pour the juice back onto the beets and stir. We peel the onion from the peel, cut into long strips, pickle in a separate bowl in vinegar. The apples must be washed under a tap with hot water, thoroughly wipe dry with a towel. Next, we rub the apples on a fine grater. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until a foam is formed, add the horseradish ready, a little black pepper, salt and grated apples. Cut pickled cucumber into long slices.

Step 4: Prepare the herring.

The herring needs to be cleaned well of the skin and stones. There is an excellent video on how to do this quickly, I advise you to cut it into thin plates, then there will be a guarantee that none of the guests will come across too much.

Step 5: Put all the ingredients on a fur coat in pancakes.

We spread the food foil on a table or a cutting board, on it we spread our two pancakes with an overlap to each other. Apply a thin layer of beets and beetroot juice. We spread thin plates of herring on the pancake surface (you need to walk just a little bit on the surface with your hands and squeeze the contents), then comes the already prepared pickled onions in vinegar. All this is very plentifully greased with the sauce obtained from us earlier. Sprinkle with parsley and dill. On the edge of the pancake we put slices of pickled cucumber. Using foil, wrap our pancakes in a roll and put in the refrigerator, but no more than 30-40 minutesso that everything is saturated.

Step 4: We serve a fur coat in pancakes.

A fur coat in pancakes must be cut into rolls immediately before serving. Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- - I do not advise making this amazing dish in the evening, because it can be very saturated with beetroot juice and pancakes will lose their appearance. It must be cooked several hours before serving.
