Microwave Potato Ingredients

Ingredients for cooking potatoes in the microwave:

  1. Potato (preferably young) 0.5 kg.
  2. Drinking water 100 ml.
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Ground black pepper to taste

For the sauce:

  1. Cream cheese (Philadelphia) 3 teaspoons
  2. Vegetable oil 2 teaspoons
  3. Sour cream 2 teaspoons
  4. Dill and parsley to taste
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Ground black pepper to taste

Cooking potatoes in the microwave:

Step 1: Cook the potatoes in the microwave.

The first step is to peel the potatoes, and then wash them well under cold running water. Then put it in a bowl, pour a little thermal water (so that the bottom is covered by a couple of millimeters), cover it with a plate or wrap it in a plastic bag and send it to bake in the microwave. Since my potato was young, I had enough 8 minutes. But if this time was not enough for you, add another 3-4 minutes. In theory, this time should be enough. Then we cut the potatoes in half and salt to taste.

Step 2: Prepare the sauce.

While baking potatoes, prepare the sauce. To do this, mix the cream cheese with vegetable oil in a bowl. Then finely chop the dill and parsley (you need only a few twigs) and add to the cheese. Then salt, pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Serve the potatoes in the microwave.

Arrange the finished potatoes on portioned plates and pour the sauce on top. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - If you have not found cream cheese, you can use fat cottage cheese to make the sauce.

- - If you do not have time to cook the sauce, then 2 minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese and again send in the microwave.

- - You can prepare a light vegetable salad for such potatoes.

- - Pay special attention to the bag, it must be very tight so that it does not melt during cooking!
