Cheese buns


Ingredients for Making Cheese Buns

  1. Premium wheat flour 3.5 cups
  2. Dry yeast 7 grams or fresh - 42 grams
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  5. Warm water 250 ml
  6. Gouda cheese grated 200 grams
  7. Egg yolk 1 piece
  8. Milk (any fat content) 1 tablespoon

Cooking cheese rolls:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

Take flour, yeast, salt, sugar, a glass of water, grated Gouda cheese about 150 grams and knead the dough. Cheese can be used any other, but for buns it is more suitable. It must be rubbed in a fine grater.

Step 2: Form the buns.

We divide the dough and form buns, eight pieces should be obtained from the resulting dough. We make the ball and put it on the table. The table should not be sprinkled with flour. Hold the roll on the side with your thumb and cover it with your palm on top.

Step 3: Spread on a baking sheet.

We place the buns on a baking sheet, make an incision in the shape of a cross on top of them. If there is a special stamp, then you can make incisions to it. Mix the egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of milk and grease the buns.

Step 4: Sprinkle.

Sprinkle the buns with the remaining cheese and leave in a baking sheet on the table 30 minutes. You can not sprinkle, but cover with a plate of cheese on top. We turn on the oven 200 degrees. After 30 minutes, the buns double in size. Put them in the oven for 25 minutes.

Step 5: Serve the cheese buns.
