Breaking Bad & Sherlock Sweep the Emmys, Plus More Surprising Moments!

Last night's Emmys saw some surprising losses (two words: True Detective) and some not so surprising wins (we all knew Breaking Bad would get some love after its final season, but who guessed Sherlock would be the biggest winner? Apparently not even the two stars since neither Martin Freeman nor Benedict Cumberbatch were there to accept their awards.). And can we all figure out just who exactly still watches The Big Bang Theory, because Jim Parsons won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series again for the fourth year in a row—not to say Parsons isn't good (he's certainly the show's saving grace), but he was up against Ricky Gervais for Derek and Louis C.K. for Louie.

Overall though, the night was pretty good and had some really great moments—like Gwen Stefani not knowing how to pronounce Stephen Colbert (it's Colbort, apparently) or Bryan Cranston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus' intense make out moment. So, if you missed the show, check out some of our favorite moments below and then explore the full list of winners here.

Many films go down in history not for their plotlines, but for their steamy make-out sessions between some of Hollywood's best actors. Y'know, when the music is gently playing in the background, the lights are dim, and it's raining outside . and two subjects with amazing chemistry come together to seal their feelings for one another with a tender kiss.

When done correctly, those kinds of passionate movie moments produce some of the most intense emotions known to man — whether it's lust, love, envy, or joy — and help set the precedent for universal ideas of romance and intimacy. However, there are many magical movie scenes that took much more determination, dedication, and patience to complete than most theater-goers could have probably imagined. Get ready to feel like your entire existence was a lie as we go through 17 actors who hated kissing their co-stars, including everyone from Will Smith to Kirsten Dunst.
